Campaigning Briefing Seminars

Four Campaigning Briefing seminars are planned for the autumn 2007 and spring 2008.  They will be held in locations across Northern Ireland and are aimed at older peoples' groups and individuals who want to increase their campaigning capacity.

The seminars will provide participants with the knowledge of how to develop their own campaign plan and the opportunity to network with groups who wish to lobby on similar issues such as community transport, water rates and health service provision.

Two seminars have taken place, the first in Coleraine on 29th November 2007 and the second in Armagh on 6th February.  Future seminars are planned in Omagh on 11th March and Ballynahinch on 9th April.
