Community Development
The community development strand of the Changing Ageing Partnership (CAP) is led by Help the Aged in Northern Ireland. The role is to provide support for older people to campaign and lobby on issues which affect them. These can be local issues such as a post office closing down or a national issue such as healthcare provision for older people. By providing groups with the support and tools, older people are given a louder and stronger voice to make a change and to challenge decision makers on age equality issues.
