At the largest CAP presentation event to date, learners shared their achievements across a wide range of programmes.  Recipients included the Challengers, the Cross-Border Seniors and the Eye-Count Lobbying Groups for their successful completion of Lobbying Skills Programmes; individuals from the Age Sector Platform who had undertaken media training;4th June 2009, NICVA, Belfast

2 the Forever Young Club who undertook Powerpoint Presentation Skills Training; The Happy-go-Lucky Club, who used their IT skills to develop a group newsletter; and individuals from the Newtownabbey Senior Citizen’s Forum who undertook Digital Photography for Advocacy.  Special recognition and thanks was given to the CAP Research Feedback group for their input and contribution over the past year.

Over 80 people from across Northern Ireland and the Border Counties came together to celebrate and share their learning achievements and experiences over the past year.  Attendees included the Grey Matters, Silver Power and Cross-Border Seniors, who received certificates for completion of their Lobbying Skills Programmes,

 the Young at Heart Ladies, who successfully completed Digital Photography for Advocacy courses.  At this event, a number of individuals from Portadown, Lisburn and Belfast  also received certificates for their  IT for Advocacy and Media Training Courses.
