Opportunities to share your skills and experiences:
Silver Surfers’ Day, 2010
Date for your diary!! Friday 21st May 2010 is Silver Surfers’ Day, and this year, there is an Intergenerational theme. CAP would like to invite IT for Advocacy learners to bring along a friend to a informal coffee morning to get online, learn new skills and have some fun! There are many different ways you could be involved. Please contact Attracta for further details.
Reviewing Advocacy websites:
Throughout the project, CAP learners have responded to requests by different organisations, and have given practical, construcive feedback to help ensure that website content and appearance is relevant and accessible to older people. Other CAP learners browsed a number of different websites and put together a small booklet of useful websites they felt would be interesting to other older people.
As we draw towards the end of the project, CAP would like to invite individuals to build on this work and to help review other useful online advocacy resources, which could then be collated in order to help others. No experience is needed – if you would enjoy checking out different websites and giving your opinion, you would be very welcome! For further details, please contact Attracta
